The Football Association (FA) has announced the round dates for the 2023-24 Emirates FA Cup. The season will kick off with the Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday, August 5, 2023. The Preliminary Round will be played on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The FA Cup is the oldest knockout football competition in the world, having been first played in 1871. It is open to all eligible clubs in the English football league system, as well as a number of non-league clubs.
The 2023-24 season will be the 153rd edition of the FA Cup. The final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
